Canon Eos 350d Digital Driver

wth is up with my camera?

I have a canon eos digital tx 350D camera. I plugged it into my computer tonight to upload pictures, but it won't upload them because it said it's missing a driver. So, I downloaded a driver but it still didn't work! I went to two more sites and downloaded two more drivers and it still will not work. Please help, I have some really great pictures on this camera that I'm not willing to lose!

* forget connecting your camera to your computer
* use a card reader to copy all the image files from the memory card to your computer into a new file folder named to remind you what the images are
