How do I set the self timer on my Canon EOS?
I'm not sure that the camera type exactly, all that said, EOS 40D is no or something. I wanted a few pictures, but they require self-timer, I'm not sure how this set and I do not know where is my manual: (Please help!
Without knowing what model it is, it is difficult to help. You need a guide. And Canon has a website with instructions. Follow the link below. (Yes, I know you do not know your model, More on that in a sec) Once you get your models page, there are a number of gray tabs. Click on "Drivers and Dowloads down the tab.Scroll Manuals & Guides section. Now you need to know which model you have, and that might be a bit difficult. The Rebel line usually have a plaque to "EOS says" on the upper right corner of the front and the model of the Rebel on the lower right. If it's a Rebel XTi, it will say so. If there is a Rebel base will say so. etc. This may be one. If this does not help, simply choose a model at random, starting with the Rebel and read the manual on self-timer. The Most of the Canon are very similar in function and you can sort out any that way.
