Canon Eos 450d Slr Digital Camera

Canon EOS 450D advice please.?

I recently bought the 55mm lens camera that came up with the standard 18. I am driving on vacation to Canada in the course of the year and I would like some advice and on the lens / accessories Mountains Maybe I need to enable me to take good photos (hopefully of Rocky some wild animals, etc.). I have seen Amazon, a lens on the UK, which is a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS telephoto zoom lens for the selected AF SLR, this lens is a good / suitable? I do not want a fortune for a lens, as I'm only an amateur! ! Spend How far in the distance, this lens would Zoom and more clear pictures? (For example, if I saw a beast at 150 meters, it would zoom in so far)? I'm completely new the entire digital SLR world, it would any advice. estimated to be Thank You.

Well first of all some accessories. Youl want a lens hood if you do landscape photography, particularly if your bottom end with a lens. This keeps the glare from the lens. You need a tripod if your doing landscapes. This is because reqire landscapes you to a high Use f-stop number (f/16 or f/22), this means that the size of the hole in the lens is smaller, which leaves less light in, which then means that you are using to compensate for a slower shutter speed, and if it can place the hand unwanted blur. Finally, you want a remote shutter release. This is an external device, the trigger insert on the side of the camera and u can press the shutter button on the remote, not the camera, thus blurring. This is also good if you want a picture of the landscape with stars. Set your camera to bulb mode, and hold the remote shutter release for about 1min.
