How - the Canon eos 500d - sepia and black and white?

i want the canon eos 500d, but does it have the sepia and black and white option on the camera? if so how do you acess it? really stuck as the staff in the shops aren't very helpful. thankyou. Beth.

OK, the staff have actually helped you out there by being ignortant.

If you shoot to black and white jpeg images you lose all the data. So if you take a picture that works better in colour. Also if you shoot colour and convert to BW in computer you get a lot more out of your images because you can control the tonality far better.
