Canon Eos Compatible Flash

What kind of film should I use weather in the rain?

I am a nature reserve will be safe and want to get the best clarity. I would also like to know if I need to bring a flash. The cameras, which I will use are: Minolta 400 SI and Canon EOS Rebel. I have a Sunpak Auto332 Flash and I asked if that is compatible with my Rebel.

I use ISO 400 or ISO 800 film would be if the lighting is poor. I've heard a lot of problem Rohn with Canon in Sunpak Rebels.
