Your opinion on the Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xs?
What do you think of it?
I'm looking to buy a professional camera for my portrait photography and found this and wondered what people think of it. Are there any other cameras that are better than this?
I also do macro photography, so is this camera good for that?
How does it compare to the Digital Rebel XTi?
I own and always recommend the Rebel XS. I've had mine for about a year and really enjoy it.
Understand that to do macro work you'll need a macro lens. This is an SLR and doesn't come with a lens capable of macro.
If you're planning low light portraits you might want to look into the Canon 50mm lens, very low f/stop and excellent for low light work.
For general photography including normal light portrait work I recommend this which I also own.
