Canon EOS Rebel digital SLR camera xsi 18-55?
Can anyone tell me whether buying this camera for $ 500 is resonable? It is and has been out of the box twice 1.5-2 years old, with all standard accessories. I do not know much about SLR cameras, so I do not want them to buy for $ 500 if not worth it. The seller tells me she thinks it's a 8.1-megapixel, but I have researched a bit and can not find that this camera, ever in 10 megapixels made. Any advice is required.
The XSi is 12 megapixels, the XTi and the XS 10 and the XT is 8 (plus a few points or so on each!) If it is definitely the XSi then $ 500 for a little one uses a reasonable price, but not a big one. Just over a year ago I paid £ 480 ($ 800) for a new one with the 18-55 Image Stabilized lens. Make absolutely sure it is the XSI. I would suggest that if it was the XTi or XS $ 400-450 then be appropriate where the XT is not more than $ 350 then.
