Canon rebel xsi HELP!?
I just purchased a canon rebel xsi for my birthday (which is today) my mom gave it to me today but i need a little help. I'm only 13 and REALLY interested in photography. I realize i'm young but i'm willing to learn. I need to take some beginners classes even though a lot are for adults. I wanted an idea on a lense and I kind of want an external flash. I love portrait. Macro's cool too! Sorry i'm extremly new. And I wanted to know how to do the black border on the canon rebel xti. I've only started out with a canon rebel eos? I don't know my mom gave it to me but it's film. I just got my digital today.

Now calm down and spend some time READING & STUDYING the Owner's Manual for your new camera. If you've been using a 35mm film camera you're already ahead on the learning curve.
I suggest not even thinking about additional lenses or a flash for a few months. Learn to use your new camera and lens first. You can, of course, use any lenses you had for your 35mm film Rebel EOS on your XSi.
