Canon Eos Driver Camera

I have 500d lost the driver CD for my Canon EOS, and my Mac Book isn't picking it (OS X 10.6)?

Where can I get the drivers from? they seem not to be on the website for the 500d? If I got one as a 400 or 500 d would this work? as my Mac is just not my camera so i cannot record transfer about images. This meant, say, or Canon 450d * ive allready been to the website, there isn't one on it only updates the software and the drivers have not even - dont dont acsess a card reader at the time i do not have the money either was more asking if anyone knew no downloads?
