Canon Kiss X4 Kit (18-55mm) and Canon EOS 550D with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Kit (Rebel T2i)?
Okay, so I'm pretty sure that the X4 Kiss same as EOS 550D / Rebel T2i. So, why is there such a price difference here? Both have the same lens kit. Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens http://7thingsdigital.com/? p = 123 Review: I am a frequent upgrader and loyal Canon fan. I traded from a last year on the XSi T1i, and now in this year's T2i. I was within a few days Order of the 7D, until they announced the T2i, with all the features I wanted from the 7D at half the cost. I immediately pre-ordered the T2i and have some fun with him in the past 24 hours. The verdict so far? I'm in love with this SLR. I think the last few iterations in the Rebel series were comparable in quality. The T2i has a lot of the same advantages and disadvantages to its predecessor, and finally, not too much has really changed. That is, the very small things that change themselves were huge for me. I'm in the video, which is what I look for in the 7D large. Both the 7D and the T2i have the stereo audio input. My T1i had just the built-in mono microphone, not acceptable for someone who is doing more than home movies with this camera was. This feature, along with full manual control of video recording (not in T1i) and 1080/24p (30p and if that's your preference) makes this a common sense to update, if you are serious are my videos. 720p/60 is really for the silky smooth framerate cool, although I personally find the movie-like feel of 24p video at best. As for what the camera is really made for photography, still It is still the king (in the middle of the entry-level DSLR class). 18 Megapixel really, really more than one person really needs. My XSi from a few years filled all my requirements with 12 megapixels, but 18 provides for even better show off to the general public. "How many megapixies is that thing? Eighteen? OMG! You are like a pro! "Anyway, back on track to buy. The noise level in most photos I've taken are pretty decent for 18 megapixels. It is similar with the noise on the 15MP T1i of what I experienced so far. ISO 6400 is now a default option instead of an advanced setting (12800 still is), which is nice to have even though you hope never to use it. The kit lens is of course the same old 18-55 I bought practically 5 times over. A big budget and an excellent lens Price, but I can not completely reject the use it has to offer after the sale some of the better Canon lenses. If the money is there, it will not regret investing a few hundred U.S. dollars slightly better glass. Otherwise, the 18-55 a great lens to start with. Only major complaint I have is the white balance in incandescent lamps is still not quite sure how I would like. I also wish they kept the same LP-E5 battery so the two I would be with my two cameras. And a nitpick, the "Rebel" name is stupid To be quite honest. It should be "550D" are mentioned, as in the Europe market. SDXC support is cool, but I can not really comment on about how I will be with SDHC cards for the foreseeable future. Oh, and the buttons are slightly revised a welcome change. A little more ergonomic than before. As a result, if T1i you think about an upgrade of one, there is not really a compelling reason unless you are okay spending hundreds just for the sake of using the latest technical Gimmicks (which I do) when you in it for the video support, which is amazing in this price range. You were to spend at least a few thousand on a professional Camcorder to the type of video support, you can now in a consumer DSLR you could get at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Canon!
