Help! Where can I find or manual for a Canon Eos Rebel X 35mm film camera?
I tried Caon site but could not figure out where me to navigate for the info I need. Some of the icons and settings can I find out. But some I can not. For example - there is a green square on the aperture dial, along with the flower, mountain, face, etc. I know what they are macro - landscape, etc. What does the green square represents?, although there - it Two icons next to the film rewind symbol I am not familiar with - one is a small box with what looks like waves coming out? The other is ISO, which I assume is Film speed - but how can I? Thank you!

The "box-with-waves" on the dial is the control for the auditory display. If you are in a situation where the normal camera beeps "are" pushy, they just turn the dial to the box-with-waves and turn the control dial (the dial near the shutter release) to the left until the LCD displays "0". If you want to enable sound, simply do the same, except turn the knob until a "1" displayed on the LCD. Turn the dial to the desired creative or preset mode, in order to continue shooting. Almost all the current 35-mm film DX-coded so you have no worries make film speed input unless you use a canister, which are not. The Rebel X automatically detects the speed of DX-coded films. The ISO mode on the dial is the manual ISO override what useful for a number of reasons. To the ISO manually dial to "ISO" and turn the knob, repeatedly until the desired ISO on the LCD.
