Depends on what you are more interested, video or stills, if you take more stills then go for a This can take a still camera to video, video, or if you are interested in more then go take a video camera, the still photo. Neither can do well every other job, Eos will take great stills, but if you compare the video to the Vixia then it is not so good (my opinion). its like trying to a street with a 4x4 car will both go on the road and both go off road, but not in a position to compare the motivation and the work of others is designed to do.
