Canon Eos Rebel k2 Film Advance Trouble?
I have a Canon Eos Rebel K2 and am shooting outdoors manually with slide film. The film is loaded correctly and I have taken about five pictures. The trouble is, after a certain amount of pictures, the film will stop advancing, even though the shutter fires, and the low battery light will flash. I just put new batteries in, my light meter readings are correct, and I have even tried shooting at different distances and focal lengths. I need this camera for a Photography class and my assignment is due Tuesday. Any words of advice on this?
I forgot to add, I am using 36 exposure film.
I'm afraid not, sounds like the transfer mechanism is dying. Fixing that will almost certainly cost more than another rebel would cost on ebay.
Only workaround I can see is that you will not finish all your rolls of film but you will have to leave them partially unshot.
