This is my first time buying a DSLR but i've been looking into them for a while. I'm really into photography. Do these seem like they would be good (quality photos & the features)
I also don't want to spend too much money, about $700 is my limit, espcially because it's my first DSLR.

Other than Tax & Dead, Canon & Nikon are the 2 camera brands that won't let you down.
That say, it come down to your very own personal choice. I and many others can give equally strong arguments in favour of either Canon or Nikon.
I suggest you go down to BestBuy try out both models for easy of use, feeling etc.
Most important, take some classes and take a lot of photos in order to learn the full advantage of these type of DSLR camera. It is a very powerful and functional as well as flexible piece of machine and will reward with amazing photos once you learn to master it.
