Canon EOS 1000D (Rebel XS) (SLR) or Fuji HS10 (SLR-Like)?

I want to bu digital camera around $ 500-600 one please help me choose between Rebel Canon EOS 1000D (XS) (SLR) and Fuji HS10 (SLR-Like )????? I want to buy a digital camera about $ 500-600 my reason to buy this camera is semi-professional Photography I want to photograph with a full manual setting please help me (you choose between Canon EOS 1000D (Rebel XS) (SLR) and Fuji SLR-Like HS10)

With the Fuji you're stuck with HS10 with the lens that is permanently attached. With the Canon XS Lenses can be changed to match the conditions. The permanently attached lens Fuji on the HS10 is a 4.2-126mm (35mm equivalent 24-720mm) with a maximum aperture of f2.8 at the wide end (4.2mm) and f5.6 at the long end (126mm). Although this is shooting outdoors or indoors with flash fine, its a bad choice for shooting in low light conditions without flash. With the Canon XS You can mount a 50mm F1.4 lens and good to go in low-light where you will not - not - with a flash. At f1.4 Canon 50mm lens two stops faster than the HS10 f2.8 Lens at 4.2 and four stops faster than the HS10 f5.6 lens at 126mm. The HS10 has a tiny sensor that makes it a poor performer at higher ISOs and in low light. 6.16mm x 4.62mm With its 11.5-22.2mm x 14.8mm x smaller than the sensor XS. With 10.3mp in a tiny sensor each pixel is very small, while the 10.0mp the XS are 11.5 times greater. This means far superior performance in low light at high ISO settings.
