10 points ... They keep the EOS 450D [Rebel XSi] prices will fall?
Now that Canon brings to the new EOS 500D, do you think is the xsi down in price? and if so, how much? Basically I'm just wondering if I now the $ 700, or spend if I should wait a few months if the price is expected to still falling and save me money? What do you think?
The price of the 450D will not fall immediately as Canon and its dealers are more interested in moving the new camera and do not want to distract from that. The 450D is already fairly well placed compared to the 1000D and 500D. If there are price cuts, it is more suitable for one-in-the board Price reduction (possibly temporary), to be getting more buyers to the brand in general. Given that the discontinued XTI (400D) is to be sold for just under $ 500, I would not expect that all major liquidation sale on the XSI.
