Which Canon EOS SOLUTION DISK I use? Adobe Photoshop to work?

Hi, I have 40D camera in an attempt to transfer images to a sais my PC and the manual that I must install the included hard drive solution. I lost that drive. I looked online and I see that version was 15. My question I is the Canon EOS Solutions Disk version 14? or version 21? or version 17? Or are these special versions for different cameras made of? also .. if I use Adobe Photoshop Element or a different type of editing software, Do I need this solution still drive? thanks!

The only time I use the Canon software is when I want to do tethered shooting. The rest of the time I have with Photoshop and Camera RAW. The easiest and best way to transfer photos and videos from your camera to your Computer via a small USB card reader (which is very cheap these days and widely available). You do not need special software to use them. Card Reader also work for moving images from your computer to a card. Plug the reader into a USB port and insert the memory card.
