Canon EF 50mm lenses?
The camera I use Canon EOS 550D is Canon 50mm lens at all, 1) EF 50mm f/1.2L USM 2) EF 50mm f/1.4 USM 3) EF 50mm f/1.8 4) EF 50mm f/1.8 II Which is the best for landscapes, portraits, sunsets, buildings, and is also casual photos?
As everyone otherwise stated, they are the same focal length and you will be hard to see the difference in aperture between the three. They will all work equally well for the purposes you listed. While you can use the 50mm focal length for it all, it is nearly perfect for "head and shoulders" portraits on a Your camera like 550D. Since they all have openings soon, none of them will be good in low-light for casual players as well as photos. The main differences here are costs and build quality. The difference in picture quality is a little difficult to appreciate for the casual observer. I'm pretty picky myself and IQ as I will explain a second, just I can not personally justify the cost of the 50mm f1.2L 50mm f/1.2L USM is certainly a great lens and has the best quality to build, but by far, it is very hard on a body like the 550D Rebel series. I've shot this lens and while I readily quantify the benefits compared to the 50mm f/1.4 USM on my 5D Mark II, I can not justify the higher costs. It has the fastest autofocus and smoothest focus ring which is great, but not a necessity. The colors are better than the other lenses and it has weather seals that they match found on my 7D or 1D/1Ds corpses. But none of these, IMHO, adds up to the price. Note that for the same price, you could easily buy EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM or EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Zoom either of them much more flexibility in filling would all roles for which you want to have mentioned this lens.
