Canon Eos Digital Solution Disk

My computer says to keep the screen resolution is not enough, I need help ...?

I bought a Canon EOS digital camera and wanted some Download images. I inserted the Digital Solution Disk and it has me on EOS Digital Solution Disk to run the screen resolution is not sufficient it is what I can do here at home to resolve this problem, or am I to have to purchase a new computer?
