how is it possible to set the zoom with the canon eos 60d, 50mm lense?
..because every time I take a picture I have to go far away from the object I want to shot.
You really need to take a class in photography before you spend any more money on photographic equipment.
A 50 mm is a prime lens, that is to say NOT a zoom lens
You have purchased the latest advanced amateur Canon dSLR, yet still need to understand some fundamentals of photography before you go a step further.
A "zoom" lens is a lens with more than one single focal length. A 18-200 mm lens is a zoom lens. A 10-22 mm lens is a zoom lens. 50 mm, 60 mm, 300 mm or 600 mm lenses are all prime lenses, thus cannot be "zoomed"
Here is a list of all the Canon EF and EF-S lenses. Take some time studying them and see if you can figure out which of them are zoom lenses and when you would need the various focal lengths when using your fine $1,000 60D
