Canon Eos D60 Digital Camera
HELP! DSLR confusion. be purchased (Aust)?
I am eager to have some serious help in finding the right "entry" DSLR camera to get. I am a "point and shoot" person, but I'm looking at for the next level in Fig. I have come with the following list, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 (which I do not know, is a DSL camera, but it's a pretty good digital) Sony Alpha A200 Nikon D60 (not sure about Nikon quality) Canon EOS 450D (not yet released - but I can wait if the price is right) So as you can see, I'm a bit of a mess with the camera is someone just starting, but do not plan, at a professional tripod system suitable. Well, in comparison to the other, not even consider the FZ18 too. It has a small sensor - about 5% of the size of an SLR sensor - and do not measure how far the image quality. I try not to to a Nikon snob, but I take exception to the realization that Nikon has a quality problem. This is anything but true. In addition, there is not much known about the next three DSLR's you mentioned. In this group, I think the D60 is a rung on the ladder, based on properties - is not quality. You want more logical to compare with the Nikon D80, this camera, but I would bet that a replacement just around the corner. I think the Canon is the better choice, but do not have much on the Sony not seen before.
